Cheating Cheetah Woods Watch 2009
Here at the Helvetica House, we have been mesmerized by the whole Tiger Woods Scandal. Everyday, there's is new women coming out calming that they cheated with Tiger Woods. Emails, text messages, and voicemail paint a clear picture as to how pimpish Tiger Woods has been. Chris has been on the edge of his seat trying to understand why his idol has step out on his woman.

Silly Things for Silly People...
Here a short video of a storyboard I did for my storyboard class. The assignment was to do a short 30 second commercial showing a fictional product, so I used the idea me and Chris came up with a long time ago. This idea is Puppies Forever, we would sell puppies that were genetically alter so that the puppies would stay puppy size forever. We all love puppies but puppies grow into big dogs. Would it be so much better to have a puppy forever? I think so!

WE WERE INTERVIEWED!!!

Interview with “sutterville” Nov 22 2009
The Sutterville guys were great to interview. We talked for a little while and then jammed on their keyboards and drums- it was fantastic. Here’s a little bit of our conversation:
What kind of music do you play?
Andy: 80’s sci-fi. British indi.
What do your neighbors think?
Chris: We don’t know. We hope they’re not home. They’ve never said anything.
Have you guys played together long?
Chris: Robert and I are from Portland (they’re brothers and Andy is their cousin) and we play together. We are going to try to play a show here sometime.
What do you do Andy?
Andy: I make movies. And watch movies.
What is one of the best movies ever produced do you think?
Andy: Gone with the Wind. I mean, it’s not a “cool” movie, but it is cool. It has an anti- hero.

What’s your favorite thing about Thanksgiving?
Andy: I like gorging myself and then taking a midday nap. Whatever that’s called.

What is this world coming to?
"Song 10" by "Rock Gap" AKA "The Triumphant"
Before "The Triumphant" was "The Triumphant" the band was called "Rock Gap." During that time period of having a different identity, a music video was made for their song called "song 10." The audio quality is low but here's the video! That same song below has been re-recorded, re-mastered and is featured on the "The Triumphant's" latest album. An album to common knowledge, has yet to see the light of day. Anyways here a video of said song!!!

Danny Macaskill Is a Biking God !!!
Every time we watch this video, we are still amazed at the level of biking skill this guy possesses. Can you imagine doing half this stuff on a bike, we can't.

It's getting cold in Utah and having a Snuggie would really come in handy but a having a Weezer Snuggie to keep you warm on those cold Provo nights would just be stinkin' awesome!!! They offer 3 different colors based on the "colored" Weezer albums and being Weezer fans, that makes it a though choice since all the colors are really pleasing to the eyes. So in effort to make the decision making process easy, we would probably base our decision on the quality of the actual "colored" Weezer albums.
VERDICT
Helvetica House chooses the blue Snuggie, seeing that it's the best album of the 3.
"go4thegustoproductions" Presents - Death of a Dreamer!!
It's a bit funny, when the Helvetica House was younger we would produced a mini movie almost every week like hot cakes but as we get older the video output seems to trickle. The low output is probably based on our need to use better gear and produce higher quality productions but after viewing some of these old school vids, there's a bit of a charm in the crude, guerrilla style of filmmaking.
I think we are finally in an old frame of mind and are making videos in a fast and furious manner. By doing so, all you good people can have all this wonderful content at a click of a mouse i.e video blogs and Youtube clips. Expect more to come!!!!

WE should all go see AVATAR!!!
The following Movie trailer is directed by James Cameron and is the follow up film to his blockbuster movie Titanic. For those who are not in the know, every once in while a movie comes along that is suppose to revolutionize the film industry. These advancements in film are many but for our generation to witness such a milestone is like our parents or grandparents watching US astronauts landing on the moon for the first time, mind blowing.
The trailer above has been brewing for the past 10 years using advance digital technology that will change the way we view movies, in immersive 3D. As a film fanatic and inspiring filmmaker, I can't help but feel giddy like a kid on Christmas. So, WE should go see this movie on December 18th!!!

Halloween Eve treat
We had a jam packed evening that included going to salt lake to drop off my amp at The House of Guitars located at 645 South 300 West, then went to The Pie pizzeria located off 200 South by The U for a bite before going to In the Venue to watch The Sounds. Andy already posted some pics of last night but I just edit the video. Here goes....

Yeah, it was ackward.
After, the Sounds took the stage and all the kids rushed the stage crushing all the tweens in the process. The majority of the Helvetica House are pushing 30 and it's been awhile since we made our way to the front. All we can say is that, it was brutality and really sweaty, testing our old bodies to the limit. The Sounds started the show off right by playing "Song with a Mission" which was rocking hard as nails and they made the whole crowd bounce like kangaroos. The band continue through a setlist of hits like "No One Sleep When I'm Awake," "Living in America," "Seven Days a Week," "Beatbox" and "Painted By Numbers." To end the show off right, the whole band stage dived into the crowd and everyone went nuts. All in all, this was an awesome show and to make the night even better, one of the members of the Helvetica House got into a fight.
