A while back, for the "The Holy Mackerel," Helvetica House did an interview with Nick T. Who, was also featured in our "Jazzercise with Nick" and "After Church Jam Session 2" video posts . It was an interesting experience but all in all, the interview is rather lame. As lame as we are, we would like to share our interview with all the Helvetica House Readers!!!
Enjoy!!!
Interview with “sutterville” Nov 22 2009
The Sutterville guys were great to interview. We talked for a little while and then jammed on their keyboards and drums- it was fantastic. Here’s a little bit of our conversation:
What kind of music do you play?
Andy: 80’s sci-fi. British indi.
What do your neighbors think?
Chris: We don’t know. We hope they’re not home. They’ve never said anything.
Have you guys played together long?
Chris: Robert and I are from Portland (they’re brothers and Andy is their cousin) and we play together. We are going to try to play a show here sometime.
What do you do Andy?
Andy: I make movies. And watch movies.
What is one of the best movies ever produced do you think?
Andy: Gone with the Wind. I mean, it’s not a “cool” movie, but it is cool. It has an anti- hero.
What movies do you other guys like?
Chris: Truman Show
Rob: You’ve Got Mail*
What’s your favorite thing about Thanksgiving?
Andy: I like gorging myself and then taking a midday nap. Whatever that’s called.
Chris: I make cranberry sauce.
Rob: It’s the best. I like all American pumpkin pie.
Chris: From Cosco.
How’s the girl situation?
Andy: I love all the women in the world.
Robert: Seeing how I’m the youngest and fresh uhhhh...
Chris: What will make us sound cooler?
Uh.
Chris: Will Marriot says “the girls in this ward are rockin’”.
So if you had a million dollars what would you do with it?
Rob: That’s not very much but I would buy world peace.
Andy: I’d buy world hunger. And a Mcdouble.
Chris: I’d buy a big shiny silver car.
Andy: We have a blog.
Chris: It’s helveticahouse.blotspot.com. That’s the name we want our house but it never caught on in the ward.
What’s on it?
Chris: Stuff
Andy: It’s like a video blog. Band demos. Short movies.
